Scratch Kitchen & Cocktails does not do weekday breakfast. Brunch starts Saturday and Sunday at 9. Show up at 8:30 on a Friday and you will be staring at a locked door.

Hassler’s on Porter calls itself “the friendliest place in town” and still cooks diner breakfast the way a lot of Norman grew up eating it: omelettes, country ham, gluten-free pancakes if you ask. La Baguette on West Main is bakery-first, open at 7 most days, with weekend brunch until 2. El Huevo is the Tex-Mex pile: nachos, chorizo gravy, frozen mimosas, and a wait list you can join in the app. Downtown Levity is a 104-year-old house with a small dining room. That is charm on a Wednesday and a squeeze on game day.

If you want a cocktail brunch after the game, Scratch and El Huevo run later on Saturday. Neighborhood Jam is worth the wait if you already accepted the wait.
